Our Mission
We serve God and the communities of Central Florida by working on the spiritual, academic, physical, emotional and social development of our students, in partnership with the families, and through a Christ-centered education, aiming at the growth of their faith, character and excellence.
The Purpose
It exists to provide a classical education based on a biblical and Christ-centered worldview. We inspire students to love learning, pursue excellence, and become leaders in knowledge, virtue, and faith.
The Philosophy of Christian Education
As an institution of a Christian nature, the school has a philosophy of education framed in the following principles:
-
The education of children, both at home and at school, must be according to the Word of God.
-
The education and training of children is primarily the responsibility of parents. Because a good part of this education and training has been delegated to the school, it is essential that parents link their children to schools that share their philosophical principles and fundamental values, and that they actively cooperate with it, supporting institutional processes and maintaining a harmonious relationship between parents, teachers and managers.
-
A good and correct relationship between parents and teachers is essential to achieve the objectives of Christian education. Furthermore, both are called to teach children and young people, by example and word, the love of God and neighbor.
-
The purpose of Christian education is the appropriate direction of the human development process toward God’s goal for man: piety of character and action.
-
The search for knowledge is more than the accumulation of information. It also includes understanding and wisdom. For this reason, the school is committed to promote the fear of God among students.
-
The Mission, the Declaration of Faith and the principles of the Classical Pedagogical Model are part of the school’s philosophy.
Declaration of Faith
We Believe…
-
that there is only one God, Supreme Being, Creator and Sustainer of the universe.
that human beings were created in the image and likeness of God.
that the image of God in human beings has been affected by sin.
that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the Savior of the world, who died on the cross and rose again on the third day to redeem us from sin and condemnation, and who is now seated at the right hand of God in heaven as King and Lord.
-
that the church is the community of Christ’s disciples, in whom God’s Holy Spirit dwells and through whom Christ continues his redemptive ministry in the world.
that Jesus Christ will come again to judge the living and the dead.
that the Bible is the accurate, God-inspired record of the life and teachings of Jesus, apostolic doctrine, the history of Israel and creation. In these Holy Scriptures we find the basis of what we know about God and we should use them as a guide in everything we do and teach.
